This position is a part of the IGG Canada UA Video Teamcreating marketing content for IGG stable of hit games. 


IGG Canada is a premium mobile game and video production studio located at 5 East 8th Ave. Vancouver, Canada. With spectacular views of the downtown skyline, coastal mountains and English Bay, our new studio is spacious, high-tech and inspiring.

IGG Canada is a division of IGG - I Got Games, a global interactive digital entertainment company that specializes in the development of and operation of Mobile Games. Established in 2006, IGG was founded with the aim of becoming a leading massively multiplayer game publisher and developer. The company has rapidly expanded its global operations, through strategic partnerships with popular gaming platforms such as Facebook, iOS, Amazon, Google Play, Kongregate and many others. IGG currently operates studios in China, Philippines, Singapore, the U.S. and Canada which opened its doors in 2013.

As a member of the video production team, the responsibilities of motion graphic/video editor include: 


  • Work with the director and studio leadership to clearly understand the concept, style, and intent of videos being produced
  • Assemble live-action, gameplay, and animated footage into trailers and promotional content as needed
  • Edit and work with music, dialogue, and sound FX
  • Create motion graphics and FX
  • Color balance videos
  • Guide the video production team in best practices for footage and content management
  • Self-manage reviews, feedback, and scheduling of work
  • Oversee the quality and progress of editing and audio and video engineering
  • Experiment with styles and techniques including the design of graphic elements
  • Suggesting and/or selecting music


Required Skills: 


  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin (Since our projects are mostly from China directly, able to read Chinese is a request skillset.)
  • Must be able to use After Effect, (especially plugins of Trapcode Particular, Saber, Optical Flares), Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop;
  • Proven work experience as a video editor/motion graphic designer is a plus
  • Knowledge in Unity 3D will be a plus.

Contract type: 3 months to start with
